Black Moon Chronicles lets the player travel to a medieval universe awash in magic, populated by fantastic monsters and fraught with untold perils. It is a world in the grip of violent battles between four factions: Light, Empire, and Justice pit themselves against the malevolent armies of the Black Moon in anticipation of a titanic battle. Each camp has strengths and weaknesses, and must defend its own fortified city against enemy raids. New players start by joining one of the four dominant powers and interact with older players from their factions. These veterans can help newcomers with their tips and advice, and send them on their way to fight some monsters, undertake quests or simply stay safely at home and chat with other gamer.
