Cabbies know to rely on every neighborhood, street, and alley for a little extra green. In Smashing Drive, such shortcuts are only the beginning. Battering rams, turbo rockets, and buzz-saws are just a few of the power-ups available. Add a serpentine course of oncoming traffic, countless pathways, and towering buildings, and you have got the most excitement a cabby has ever had behind the wheel. The goal is to deliver a fare to the destination in as short a time as possible using every advantage available including running vehicles off the road, taking short cuts through malls and buildings, jumping over traffic jams, and even blowing obstacles clear from the path.

• The game features four working shifts: Early Bird, Rush Hour, Night Owl, and Dusk and Wired. Each shift has various circuits to run against a competing CPU hack. Players will always have the option of trying to save time or gain extra points by taking alternative and risky routes on their way to a destination. Some risky routes will save time if navigated flawlessly. Others will give added points to help unlock bonus levels.
• Other modes include a 2-player VS mode for head-to-head competition against friends and a Survivor mode that allows players to revisit any successfully completed circuit and compete against the CPU with no time limit.
