The puzzles are easy to play and, despite their complexity, designed in a beginner-friendly way. Sudoku: The Puzzle Game Collection also makes use of Nintendo's Play Coins system, letting the players collect points with their Nintendo 3DS systems automatically on the go. These points can then be exchanged for tips and hints to solve the puzzles.
The puzzles and logic games are complemented with creatively designed 3D pictures and optional game views; Hashi uses animated bridge elements and Shikaku, lets the players arrange the number fields with different colors.
